Limani is a transportation and mobility platform that connects riders, drivers, vehicle owners, and administrators through digital technology for transportation and related services.
Riders: Full name, phone number, email address, profile photo, payment information, pickup and destination addresses, ride history.
Drivers: Full name, phone number, email address, profile photo, driver’s license information, vehicle information, banking and payout details, identity verification documents, real‑time location data, driving and trip history.
Vehicle Owners: Business or personal identification information, vehicle ownership information, driver assignment information, payment and payout information.
Administrators: Authentication and activity logs, access control records, administrative actions performed on the platform.
Limani collects precise and approximate location data to provide core transportation services. This may include real‑time driver location tracking, rider pickup and destination routing, trip monitoring, fraud prevention, driver dispatching, safety monitoring, and navigation support. Location collection may continue while the app is running in the foreground or background, depending on device permissions and active trip status. Users may disable location permissions, but certain features may not function properly.
We use collected information to provide transportation services, match riders with drivers, process payments and payouts, improve dispatch efficiency, detect fraud and suspicious activity, provide customer support, send ride updates and notifications, monitor platform safety and compliance, improve platform performance and analytics, and comply with legal obligations.
Limani may use third‑party payment providers to process payments securely. We do not store full card details directly on our systems unless explicitly permitted by applicable law and payment provider standards. Payment processors may collect and process card information, transaction references, billing details, and fraud screening information.
We may share information with drivers and riders (first name, profile photo, vehicle details, pickup and destination information, contact information where necessary), vehicle owners (operational and earnings information relating to assigned vehicles and drivers), service providers (payment processing, cloud hosting, messaging, notifications, analytics, mapping, navigation, fraud prevention), and legal authorities if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security of users or Limani.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including authentication controls, encryption, access restrictions, secure cloud infrastructure, monitoring and logging systems, and fraud detection systems. Despite our efforts, no platform or transmission method is completely secure.
